React Job Details

At Produce8, we think the future of work is digital despite the location, but the tools and processes used to operate it are still analog and in-person. Work needs a re-think, and we’re stepping in.

As a venture-backed startup launched out of Top Down Ventures, we’re building a new category of software to help teams collaborate more deeply, communicate more efficiently and work more productively together in the modern work environment. Produce8 is a digital work analytics platform that helps distributed, and digital-first teams understand how they interact with their technology and each other. We’re laser-focused on the future of work and crafting a platform to enable it.

We’re deeply passionate about creating the best possible digital work experience for our people. Our company culture supports flexible work hours, finding new ways to reduce digital distractions so our team members can have more calm and focused time in their days, and we’re currently piloting a four-day workweek.

If you’re looking to continue building your career in SaaS, this is an opportunity to join a team dedicated to building a company and a culture you’ll want to stay with for years to come.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a Front End Developer who specializes in amazing user experiences to join our product team. You will have the opportunity to take business requirements and design mockups and translate them into our rapidly growing product. You will be a key part of crafting a new category of software that will revolutionize the way companies and employees manage the changing nature of work - helping them optimize their use of their technology and their time. Working under the guidance of a knowledgeable and experienced leadership and advisory team, you'll have the chance to work on an early-stage product being crafted for a multi-billion dollar market.

You'll be working in a well-funded startup with a small team of hands-on engineers and product leaders building something awesome in a market that they know intimately. We have a solid product concept, stable funding, a great advisory group, and a deeply experienced engineering and product team.

We need you to join us to help make it happen!

What you’ll be doing

The primary focus of this role will be to help grow the Produce8 products so we can deliver the best product on the market. You will:

  • Build Front-end product features for our web app and browser plugin that are responsive, performant and accessible that engage audiences through the use of animation and complex interactions
  • Build reusable components with React (NextJS), Typescript, HTML, CSS and Styled Components for use across our products and document them in our design system
  • Write tests to make sure we can move fast while being confident things won’t break
  • Partner with product management, design, engineering and our users to craft incredible experiences
  • Contribute your energy and ideas to drive features from initial concepts to launch, experimenting, making mistakes, learning and iterating along the way
  • Keep up with and learn the latest Front End technologies and standards to make sure we’re always using the best tools and techniques possible.
